Order of publication of articles

In order to publish an article in the journal "Volga Bulletin of Science", you need to send to the email address pvn@pravinst.ru an application letter containing the following files:

- an original (the originality is not less than 70% when checked in the Antiplagiat program), previously unpublished article, presented in accordance with the requirements of the journal;

- a file with information for the site, designed according to the example;

- the author's questionnaire, filled out according to the example.


The procedure for reviewing articles

1. If the materials satisfy requirements they are sent for review to the reviewer, who is appointed by the editor-in-chief or his deputies in accordance with the scientific direction stated in the publication.

2. The reviewer makes a review of the article in accordance with the basic requirements for scientific publications for two or more weeks. The maximum period for reviewing articles is 65 days.

3. During the review process, the reviewer can send the article with comments to the author for revision. The maximum number of improvements to one article is 3 times.

4. In case of receiving a positive review, the article is accepted for publication in the next issue, in case of receiving a negative review, the article is rejected.

5. Reviewing of articles in the journal is blind two-sided.

The text of the manuscript must be presented in doc, docx format (saved in Microsoft Word program).

Margins: left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm, bottom - 2 cm, top - 2 cm.

Font - Times New Roman, size - 14, line spacing - 1.5, paragraph indent - 1 cm, text alignment - in width.


UDC (Universal Decimal classification)

Manuscript title (no more than 90 printed signs, including spaces).

Names of authors (in full).

Information about the authors (academic degree, academic title (if any), position, place of work / study, city, country).

Keywords (from 5 to 10 keywords or short phrases separated by semicolons).

Abstract from 50 (minimum) to 250 (maximum) words.

Main content of the article is recommended to present in the following sequence: INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS (not obligatory requirement).

Sources of financing (if any) are given in italics at the end of the article below the main text.

Bibliography includes at least 10 peer-reviewed sources.

English language part. The following information is indicated at the end of the manuscript in English: the title of the article, the names of the authors, information about the authors, keywords and abstract.


All abbreviations must be deciphered at the first use in the main text of the article (but not in the abstract and keywords).


All charts and figures must have titles and numbering (if there is more than one chart / one figure in the text).

References must be made to charts and figures in the text (they can be included in the sentence structure, or they can be excluded and are given in parentheses). Examples: Classification ... is presented in chart one; (Chart 1); The diagram ... is shown in fig. 4; (fig. 4).

Charts must be made in Microsoft Word program and must not have empty columns.

Figures are placed in the text of the manuscript and provided as separate files as an attachment to the article (in tif, jpg format, mode - in grayscale, resolution - at least 300 pixels / inch (dpi)). In scanned pictures, the text should be clear. Drawings made with "Microsoft Graph" must be combined into a single macro element.


Formulas must be presented in the editor "Microsoft Equation" or "MathType". Their length must not exceed 80 mm. Sizes of symbols in formulas (Microsoft Equation, MathType): regular - 10 pt, large index - 7 pt, small index - 5 pt, letters of the Latin alphabet are typed in italics, letters of the Greek and Russian alphabets - in straight font, mathematical symbols - cos, sin, max, min, etc. - straight font. The formula number is written in parentheses at the right margin of the page at the formula level: (1), (2), (3). Only those formulas which are referenced in the text must be numbered. The dimension of all characteristics must correspond to the SI system.


The bibliography must contain only peer-reviewed sources (articles from scientific journals, collections of scientific papers, collections of conferences, monographs, peer-reviewed textbooks, etc.) used in the text of the article. In the case of reference to an unreviewed publication (legal act, newspaper, Internet source, archive, etc.), it is necessary to indicate the bibliographic description of the cited source in a footnote or inline link (in parentheses).

All sources indicated in the bibliography must be cited in the text in square brackets. The sources in the bibliography are arranged in the order in which they are mentioned in the manuscript. The bibliographic description of sources is performed by the authors in accordance with the applicable standards (see examples of bibliographic descriptions).

The recommended volume of publication is 8–32 pages.

Ordering and delivery of printed copies

The publication of an article in the journal without providing the author with a printed copy is free.

The author is also provided with an electronic version of the journal free of charge.

Printed copies must be ordered and paid separately.

The cost of one printed copy is 1000 rubles.

Postage for authors from other cities is paid separately, its cost is: in Russia - 150 rubles; outside the Russian Federation - from 500 rubles.

The order of printed copies is carried out only after the electronic layout of the journal is published and sent to its authors. The editorial board informs the authors in more detail about the terms of ordering and paying for printed copies individually.
